Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to start ASAP for a few days work on a fit out job in Maidstone.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to groundworks, including excavation, drainage, and the installation of utilities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and quality, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
Carry out excavation and earthmoving tasks using appropriate machinery and hand tools. Assist in the installation of drainage systems and utilities such as water, gas, and electricity. Prepare sites for construction by clearing debris and levelling ground. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site at all times. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.
Skills
Previous experience in groundworks or construction is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and supervisors. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks over extended periods. Valid CSCS Card .
