With decades of experience and a growing portfolio, we are now looking to expand our skilled workforce by hiring an experienced

Groundworker

to join our team.

The Role - Groundworker

As a Groundworker, you will carry out a range of groundwork duties across construction sites in the region, including but not limited to excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing, and slab laying. You will work within a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient groundwork services as part of larger construction and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavation and trenching Installing drainage systems Concreting, slabbing, kerbing, and paving Site clearance and preparation Interpret site drawings and specifications Set out and measure works accurately Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and site equipment safely Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines Work safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other trades, and team members Report any issues or site obstacles promptly to your supervisor

About You:

Proven experience in all aspects of groundwork Punctual, reliable, and hard-working Able to follow written and verbal instructions Good awareness of health and safety

Requirements:

Full UK driving license (preferred) NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or related discipline (preferred) CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue or Gold) SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) - desirable
