Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled to join our team, specialising in hard landscaping maintenance and groundwork services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hard landscaping construction, and maintenance tasks, with the ability to operate various power tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance including paving, concreting, tarmac, drainage, and general groundworks. t Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Utilise hand tools and power tools for various tasks including digging , and installation work. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and longevity. Assist with construction projects related to outdoor spaces, including setting up structures or features as required. Support gardening activities such as soil preparation and turfing. Follow health and safety procedures at all times during operations.

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening with a good understanding of landscaping/ Groundworks. Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, power tools, and other machinery used in landscaping or construction. Proficiency with hand tools such as spades, pruners, saws, and shovels. Ability to operate specialised equipment like excavators safely and effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good physical fitness with the capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards across all activities.
