Job Title: Groundworker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to groundwork, construction, and maintenance projects. Your role will involve working outdoors, operating machinery, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities:

- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, laying foundations, and backfilling holes.
- Operate machinery including excavators, dump trucks, and compactors.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other underground structures.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to achieve project goals.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep worksite clean and organized.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in operating heavy machinery.
- Experience with concrete work or paving.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
