We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Specialist. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring that gardens, parks, and other landscapes are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and construction, along with mechanical knowledge to operate various tools and machinery effectively.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects. Conduct irrigation system installations and repairs to ensure optimal water distribution. Carry out general maintenance duties to keep equipment in good working order. Assist in construction projects related to landscaping, including building pathways or garden features. Engage in gardening activities that promote plant health and aesthetic appeal. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with excavators and other heavy machinery is an advantage. Understanding of irrigation systems and horticultural practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
