Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Civils Groundworker
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering groundwork, with experience in site work, roadworks, and preferably machine operation with valid tickets.Key Responsibilities:
Carry out all aspects of groundwork including trenching, ducting, concreting, kerbing, and paving Perform excavation and reinstatement works to required standards Interpret site drawings and levels accurately Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently (if qualified) Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures on site
Requirements:
Proven experience in civil groundwork, including roadworks and general site operations Ability to use hand tools and small plant confidently Valid CSCS card Machine tickets (e.g., CPCS or NPORS) for diggers, dumpers, rollers, etc. -
preferred
Knowledge of safe digging practices, including use of CAT and Genny -desirable
Full UK driving licence -preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 160.00-210.00 per day
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
