Job Summary

Essential Role Requirements:

Responsible for ensuring risk assessment briefings and toolbox talks are carried out Making sure operatives are working effectively and in a safe manner Responsible for ensuring the correct plant and materials are on site to manage a programme of works Able to work independently and as part of a team Ensuring the correct and safe method is in place when digging around buried services Able to confidently engage with operatives to drive Quality, H&S and Production standards Able to read programmes set by Site Management and convert to working practices to achieve target dates Expert knowledge in all aspects of groundwork elements (ground beams, drainage, sub-structure concrete, externals, roads, oversite housing slabs, cut and fill earthwork activities etc.) Commercial awareness of site activities Management of sub-contractors Excellent client communicator and proactive approach Able to read drawings to understand build details

General Expectations:

Reliable & punctual. Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time. Right to work in the UK. Completion of the IT induction and training program is required within the first 1 to 3 months of employment.

CITB 5-Day SMSTS CSCS Supervisor Qualification First Aid at Work Certification Safety Critical Medical (Site Specific)
