Groundcare Sales Representative

Location: This is a Hybrid role which involves remote working as well as some days at our base in Forfar.

Start date: Immediate Start Available

Pay: 29,000 + commission

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, Hybrid

Like every day to be different? One day you can be up in the farms of Aberdeenshire demonstrating a UTV, the next you could be at an event showcasing our range of equipment or communicating with customers from our Depot in Forfar.

With no two days the same, this role consists of the sale, demonstration, and operation of a variety of Groundcare, Agricultural, Horticultural, Forestry and Construction equipment covering the Aberdeenshire and Angus Area. This role can be Hybrid, allowing for a few days in our office in Forfar and others will be on site with customers within the Aberdeenshire area.

Joining our existing Sales team, we are looking for someone enthusiastic and outgoing who has previous mechanical or industry knowledge looking to make their way into sales. This role requires working independently, managing your own time and workload, while simultaneously communicating with the various other departments across the depot.

This is a customer-facing role that consists of communicating with existing and new customers, liaising with internal departments, answering customer enquiries, identifying customer needs, recommending machinery with the appropriate specifications and providing on-site demonstrations.

We attend a variety of shows and events throughout the year which would require our sales team to be in attendance.

The Person

Essential experience/skills

Full driving license essential (with trailer preferred) Experience or knowledge of the industry (this can be from a mechanical background, Groundskeeping, or any other roles that offer experience or knowledge of the equipment) Excellent organisational and communication skills. Good Practical skills Customer-focused with an outgoing personality Located in the Aberdeenshire area with strong local connections.
Preferred but not required:

Previous mechanical knowledge/experience Sales experience
