Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a seasonal grounds and garden maintenance operative from your start date to the 20th December 2024 who is a well-mannered, hardworking, team player, to join our growing, friendly company. Relevant experience is preferred but we will also consider recruiting an exceptional candidate as a trainee with full training given. As a gardener you will be responsible for the soft landscaping and maintenance of both commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular landscape maintenance with tasks including,

Operate hand tools, such as rakes, shovels, spades, secateurs.
Use of power tools, such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, strimmer's, safely and efficiently

Trimming and maintaining hedges/shrubs.

Lawn cutting and edging.

Correct pruning of shrubs and plants.

Weeding of plant borders.

Planting new plants as and when required.

Leaf clearance

Litter collection.

Fencing.

Experience:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with tools commonly used in grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality in outdoor spaces
