Grounds Operative, 28,000pa + overtime + 28 days' holiday including bank holidays + pension + uniform and PPE supplied + training and career development.

The Role: We are seeking to appoint a team leader with a quality and customer focused approach who would like to progress their career . Our team is expanding so we are happy to receive applications from Ground Maintenance Operatives and current team leaders. Relevant experience is a must and the ability to demonstrate this.

Essential Requirements;

Grounds maintenance experience; gardening, horticulture, grass cutting, grass care, hedge cutting, border maintenance etc.

A good team player with excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic with a focus on delivering work of the highest standard

Physically fit with experience of working in a physically demanding environment.

An interest in landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture etc.

. A full UK driving license

The right to work in the UK

Willingness to pass a enhanced DBS check

Experience of working as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, with any of the following skills would be highly preferable;

Experience of using relevant machinery; commercial pedestrian mowers and handheld grounds maintenance tools.

Horticulture / technical qualifications

A PA1/PA6 Pesticide Spraying Licence

H&S and first aid knowledge

Supervisory skills (for Team Leader level)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am-3.00pm (Winter hours), 6.30am-4pm (Summer hours)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.56 ph plus overtime
