We are currently seeking an excellent and suitably experienced

Groundskeeper / Labourer

to help support our daily operations in one of our newest additions to our portfolio in EH30. As duties are influenced by weather and seasons, you may be required to support in our range of temporary accommodations for Cameron Guest House Group and the Place Hotel in the city center of Edinburgh.

Who we are:

Cameron Guest House Group comprises 21 properties, all situated in and around Edinburgh. It is a growing business that collaborates directly with the Council of Edinburgh.

The Place Hotel on York Place in Edinburgh has an amazing reputation and status. It is an award winning four-star 47-room boutique townhouse Hotel, in a prominent location close to the cities' theatres, the new St James Quarter and on the tram line. With a purpose-built Conference & Event space with extensive outdoor terrace and banqueting facilities.

Who we are looking for:

You will possess a UK driver's licence, with a clean record and will be able to drive.

You will work well as part of a team, and committed to follow safe ways of work.
You will work effectively under pressure, and have high standards of cleanliness and will be tidy and organised.

You will have experience with general labour and site work.

You will have a strong background in groundskeeping. Professional qualifications will be advantageous to the position.
You will have experience in driving in the UK, your driving record will be clean, you will have some experience driving a van.

What we offer:

This role comes with a hourly pay starting from 12.95, depending on experience. The role is full time with 40 hours contracted weekly. The contract is permanent, with a three-months probation period.
