Job Description

We seek a physically capable and skilled person to care for around 20 acres of mature gardens and parkland. The work includes the maintenance of hedges, flowerbeds, trees, paths, grassed areas and drainage. There will be a small amount of tree felling and logging involved. Therefore, applicants will need the relevant skills and qualifications. From time to time there will also be the requirement for general yard work. The successful applicant will be attentive to detail and the seasonal needs of the grounds, but will enjoy the freedom to work without excessive oversight or time management. Applicants must show that they are capable of working on their own and with minimum supervision. Knowledge of the use of machinery, chainsaws, spraying, plant and general wordsmanship is essential. Building maintenance skills would also be an advantage. This position is full-time, however we are reasonably flexible to the days and hours of work to suit both parties.

Pay: 12.21-13.46 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
