Job Summary

Bristol Memorial Woodlands are seeking an experienced grounds keeper to join their busy team.

The role will include but is not limited to: heavy groundworks (including grave digging), maintaining and improving our existing gardens, mowing, strimming, planting and nurturing new trees, flowers and wild flowers, together with general cemetery maintenance. The role therefore calls for work with hand tools, light powered tools and heavy machinery. (Training is offered.) An ability to self motivate and to engage with visitors and our brand partners are essential.

We have a 100 acre site, evolving annually with new areas opening and coming under maintenance and management. The successful applicant will demonstrate a willingness to take these projects forward and an understanding of how they can be managed.

The successful applicant will be a team player willing to assist our other teams as required. The role, based on a standard week, involves some early starts and occasional weekend work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
