Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds person/experienced green keeper/ turf technician to join our expandning team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports turf maintenance and a strong understanding of horticulture, sports turf, land drainage and operating sports turf machinery and tractors. This role involves maintaining, renovating, and the installation of natural and artificial surfaces in the amateur and Professional sports turf market. (Football clubs, Rugby, Cricket, Golf Clubs and Horse racing venues across the country).

Knowledge and skilled in the use of tractors, loadall forklifts, construction plant such as 360 excavators, dumpers, other power tools, and groundcare machinery.

Requirements/Desirable Capabilities

Proven experience in sports pitch construction/maintenance or a related field is preferred. Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate excavators and other plant and machinery such as tractors, dumpers, and groundcare machinery. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance. Background in sports turf, green keeping or horticulture is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality work. Excellent communication skills Must have the ability to work and integrate as part of a team but also able to confidently work using your own initiaitive Willing to work away from home on a frequent basis
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-17.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lincoln LN3 5BB
