Grounds person / Gardener - Aberdunant Hall, Near Porthmadog

At Aberdunant Hall, set within 200 acres of woodland in the heart of Eryri / Snowdonia, we're looking for someone who feels as passionate about landscapes as we do about hospitality. What You'll Be Doing:

Working with our Head Gardener and Grounds Manager:-

Tending to lush lawns, woodland paths, and landscaped areas to maintain Aberdunant's serene charm. Mowing, trimming, and pruning using a variety of hand and power tools. Planting, watering, and nurturing flowers, shrubs, and trees. Monitoring plant health, spotting issues early, and caring for our living landscape like it's your own garden. Assisting with small design projects and seasonal landscaping makeovers. Keeping grounds clear of debris, ensuring every guest's first impression is a good one. Assisting the Grounds Team around the park on general duties such as hot tub cleaning and checks, moving caravans and delivering gas etc..

What We're Looking For:

Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or professional gardening. Confidence with garden machinery and tools. Solid plant knowledge: what grows well, how to look after it, when to cut it back. A genuine eye for detail -- Imagination and a genuine strive for the best. Physical resilience -- rain or shine, you're happy outdoors. A full UK driving licence would be handy for moving between parts of the estate.
