We are seeking an experienced

Groundworks Foreman.

The successful candidate will oversee groundworks operations, manage a small team, and operate a digger on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate groundworks activities on-site. Operate excavators/diggers safely and efficiently. Manage and motivate a small team of operatives. Ensure all work is completed to health and safety standards, site regulations, and MOD requirements. Monitor site progress, resources, and report to project management. Maintain site equipment and ensure machinery is in safe working order. Liaise with contractors and site management as required.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or similar role. Ability to operate a digger/excavator safely. Valid

DBS check

(or ability to obtain one prior to starting). Strong knowledge of groundworks practices, health & safety, and site regulations. Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively. Good communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

Previous experience on MOD or secured sites. CSCS card or other relevant construction certifications.
