Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will play a crucial role in various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare sites by clearing debris and levelling ground as necessary. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundwork elements such as concrete slabs and block paving. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to carry out tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any issues or hazards encountered on site to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Familiarity with construction tools and machinery is advantageous. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A valid driving licence is mandatory.
