About the Role
JPK Building Contractors Ltd are seeking an
experienced Groundworker
to join our team on bespoke residential projects across North Devon.
We specialise in high-end, energy-efficient builds and are looking for someone confident in all aspects of groundwork and foundation preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out and preparing
foundations
,
rafts
, and
reinforced slabs
Installing
drainage systems
,
soakaways
,
sewer tanks
, and
manholes
Laying
drains
,
brick
and
blockwork
Working with
steel reinforcement
(rebar, mesh, concrete pours)
Operating machinery such as
dumpers
and
excavators
Assisting site team with general groundwork and site preparation
Requirements
Proven
experience in groundworks
(minimum 3 years preferred)
CPCS or NPORS
ticket for
Dumper
(required)
Tickets for
Excavator (Digger)
or other plant (advantageous)
Ability to
read drawings and set out levels accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must have own transport and PPE
