Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our team at JBS. This role is essential in supporting our construction projects by providing groundwork services that ensure the foundation of our builds is solid and reliable. Experience in structural reinforcing, building up cages and shuttering formwork would make you the perfect candidate.

Responsibilities

Prepare and excavate sites for construction projects. Lay foundations, including concrete and reinforcing cages. Ensure proper drainage systems are installed and maintained. Setting out and installing reinforcing metalwork Assist in the installation of utilities such as water and electricity lines. Work collaboratively with other construction team members to meet project deadlines. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundwork is preferred. Knowledge of construction methods and materials. Ability to operate machinery relevant to groundwork tasks is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
