Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. This is a 12 week temp to perm position for the right person. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the preparation and maintenance of construction sites, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively supervise and manage tasks while collaborating with other team members.

Duties

Carry out groundwork tasks including excavation, levelling, and laying foundations. Supervise and manage a team of labourers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Experience Foreman/Woman doing drainage, Kurbing and Paving.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is essential. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Proficient in operating relevant machinery and tools safely. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must have machine tickets. Experience in drainage, Kurbing, Paving and all aspects of groundworks. Must have a valid driving licence.
Hours - Start time 7am on site, to collect materials etc.,

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: 17.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
