Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to groundworks, ensuring that all projects are completed to a high standard. Responsibilities

Carry out groundwork activities including excavation, drainage, and laying foundations. Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, electricity, and telecommunications. Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring all materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is essential. Familiarity with construction tools and machinery is advantageous. A valid driving licence is essential for transportation of materials to various sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. A commitment to health and safety practices is crucial for this role.
