Job Description

Due to business demand, we are seeking dedicated and diligent Groundworkers to join our dynamic Groundworks and Clearance teams. Our base is 7-miles north of Perth, which will be the starting point of the working day, where required transport will be proved from there. Our teams cover the majority of Scotland, the work is varied and rewarding. In the role some of the works that you will undertake include excavation, preparation of footpaths, draining and sewer systems, and the construction of kerbs, paving, and concrete slabs. You will also undertake surfacing works, including tarmac surfaces and other hardscapes. Clearing of storm-damaged tree, overgrown sites, etc. This list is not exhaustive and additional works will be undertaken. We are committed to the health and safety of our staff and expect the same standards from all employees. All personal-protective equipment will be provided. Responsibilities

• Operate a range of plant and machinery
• Maintain plant and machinery to a high-standard
• Work with site managers and clients to ensure that projects are completed within agreed timescales and to the required standards
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices
• Working safely considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks
• You will:
• Hold UK driving licence
• Have demonstratable experience within a similar role
• Have excellent time-keeping skills and will be reliable and punctual

Advantageous attributes

• First Aid Plus F Certified
• Experience using chainsaws/woodchippers (tickets would be beneficial but full training and accreditation will be given)
