Overview

Groundworker required for 6 weeks work. Possibly leading to more work for the right candidate. Work will be in the Yorkshire area and travel provided. CSCS card required. Digger/dumper tickets preferred but not essential. Must have proof of previous groundwork experience.

Duties

Operate hand tools and machinery as required for groundworks, including digging, trenching, and laying foundations. Carry out general labouring tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure personal and team safety on site.

Skills

CSCS card required. Digger/dumper tickets preferred. Previous experience in groundworks or construction is advantageous but not essential. Ability to operate basic machinery and tools safely and effectively. Strong physical fitness to perform demanding tasks throughout the day. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors. A valid driving licence is beneficial for transportation to various sites.

Pay: 19.00-25.00 per hour
