Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction and civil engineering projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties

Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks as directed by site supervisors. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential structures. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure project timelines are met. Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid CSCS card is a must Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Machine and dumper tickets would be an advantage Relevant certifications and training in groundworks
