Groundworker Road Maintenance Operative Surfacing Operative
Job Description
Keble Heath Construction is a well established civil engineering and road maintenance contractor operating in and around Stoke-on-Trent since 1974.
We are looking for a groundworker with highways experience or a surfacing operative with at least 5 years experience in the industry.
The candidate MUST have a current CSCS card and a dumper and roller CPCS or NPORS card. NRSWA certificate and CAT & Genny certificate desirable.
The candidate must have a good attitude, be trustworthy, have good timekeeping and attendance as well as being able to carry out work in a safe and diligent manner to comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Must be able to work on own initiative!
This position is only for experienced candidates used to working with tarmac either as a raker or roller, considered number 2 in a small gang under the ganger themselves. We are an all round company so candidate must also have experience and be able to lay kerbs, drainage, ducting, concrete etc.
We are willing to pay up to 190 per day based on an 8 hour working shift on a self employed/ltd basis for the right candidate.
