A great opportunity for the right individual to join our team, We excavate and install new domestic driveways from start to finish to a very high standard. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

RUN A THREE MAN TEAM TO INSTALL DRIVEWAYS TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD.
Prepare and maintain construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring the area is safe for work. Excavate trenches and foundations as per project specifications. Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, including diggers and compactors. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, footings, and other groundwork elements.

Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential. Ability to operate basic construction machinery (training may be provided). Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Pay: 160.00-180.00 per day
