Overview

We are seeking a skilled groundworker/ bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong building background especially with concreting, drainage and bricklaying, ideally have operators licence for excavators but not essential , with the ability to work in a small team or on your own. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to follow health and safety .

CSCS card is essential and willing to have a enhanced DBS check carried out.

work is generally within 100mile of Northampton, currently have 2 projects in Nottingham on going.

wage is negotiable depending on experience and skills

Responsibilities

Perform repairs on existing brickwork and masonry structures. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Follow health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.

Skills

Proficient in bricklaying techniques with a solid understanding of masonry principles. Experience using power tools such as saws and drills, as well as hand tools like trowels and chisels. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks effectively.
