Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
Carry out groundworks including excavation, drainage, and laying foundations. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Assist in the installation of utilities and services as required. Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is preferred but not essential. Ability to operate basic construction machinery safely. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a construction environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards work. Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
