Job Description

Groundworker / Forward Tipping Dumper Driver

Key Responsibilities

Operate a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently to move materials and spoil around site. Carry out all aspects of groundworks including: Excavations, trenching, and drainage. Laying foundations, kerbs, and edging. Concreting, tarmacking, and reinstatement works.

Assist site team with general labouring duties as required. Conduct daily plant checks and report any faults or issues. Ensure site safety and cleanliness is maintained at all times. Work closely with site supervisors to complete tasks to specification and deadline.
Essential Requirements

Valid CSCS card. Valid CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket. Previous experience in groundworks and operating dumpers. Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour in outdoor conditions.
Desirable Skills / Experience

Additional plant tickets (e.g. Roller, 360 Excavator). First Aid or other site safety certifications. Own transport to get to site.
Working Hours

Typical hours: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.
