We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Groundworker

to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to ground preparation and support in construction projects. You will work closely with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth and safe site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavation, trenching, and foundations for building structures Operating and maintaining groundworks equipment and machinery Laying foundations, drainage systems, and concreting works Handling and disposing of materials and waste according to safety standards Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site Assisting with site preparation and finishing work (paving, laying tarmac, etc.) Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications Carrying out any other groundworks tasks as required by the site manager

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar construction role Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS Card, First Aid) are desirable Experience with heavy machinery and tools (e.g., excavators, rollers, diggers) Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
