Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks, including digging trenches and foundations. Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively for various groundworks. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure components. Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to the supervisor.

Experience

Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment and materials. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate tools and machinery effectively. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques within the construction industry.
