Rouse Civils Ltd is looking for ground work / civil operatives to join their commercial team responsible for installing Electrical EV Car Charge points across the UK.

Works include;

- Plant operated Hard and soft excavations

- Installation of electrical Ducts

- Cable Pulling

- LV & HV works

- Installation of concrete plinths following specifications.

- Reinstatement works including All aspects of Hard and Soft landscaping..i.e. Kerbing, paving, tarmac, concrete, fencing, etc.

Experience necessary;

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Cat and Genny

- Manual Handling, First Aid, Abrasive wheels, NPORS 360, dumper, tickets preferred.

- Safe and correct use of designated plant and equipment such as (not exhaustive list); Grinders, cut off saw, floor saw, roller, compactors, 1.5 tonne+ 360 excavator, dumper, etc..

- CSCS as a minimum

- SSSTS preferable

- Streetworks

The ideal candidate will have experience in running a small team of operatives (usually 3-4 man gang), reading and interpreting plans, safe use of Cat scanner to identify existing cables, experience in following health and safety procedures, and extensive knowledge of excavations and reinstatement works on both on and off site.

Works include working away and overtime hours. We work from our central yard in Wigan Town Centre and head out across the UK on varying sites, mainly National Trust. Hotel & travel costs covered.

Pay rate negotiable on experience.

Performance bonus available.

Company vehicle provided.
