Groundworks Supervisor

to join our site team in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day groundworks operations on site. Coordinate gangs, plant, labour, and materials to meet programme targets. Ensure high standards of workmanship and productivity. Read and interpret drawings, levels, and specifications. Carry out daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions where required. Monitor quality, progress, and compliance with H&S regulations. Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Support with paperwork including daily diaries, permits, and RAMS implementation. Identify issues early and propose solutions to keep the project on schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years experience in groundworks supervision. Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, kerbs, ducting, services, and external works. Ability to manage multiple gangs in a fast-paced environment. Competent in reading drawings and understanding levels.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Valid CSCS card

SSSTS

TWS (Temporary Work Supervisor)

First Aid at Work

EU/UK Driving Licence

CPCS/NPORS plant tickets

Experience supervising on industrial or commercial projects
