Job Description

A global, fast-growing multisite business is seeking a technically strong Group Accountant to support consolidated reporting, audit, and finance transformation across its international operations. This is a hands-on role within a small, high-performing team, offering visibility to the Group CFO and CEO and exposure to all aspects of Group Finance.
Reporting to the Group Finance Reporting Manager, the Group Accountant will:

• Deliver quarterly consolidated financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
• Support the annual statutory Group audit and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in rolling out the global consolidation system (Tagetik)
• Review monthly reporting packs across international entities (FRS102)
• Manage Group recharge overhead spend and report against budget
• Support Treasury and Business Partnering teams with variance resolution
• Improve intercompany reconciliation, reporting, and settlement processes
• Contribute to global finance transformation and ad hoc projects
• Liaise regularly with Group CFO, Regional Directors, and Executive team

The successful candidate for this Group Accountant position will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:

• Strong technical accounting skills
• Proven experience in global monthly consolidation and intercompany processes
• Strong Excel and IT skills; ERP/reporting system exposure preferred
• Working knowledge of IFRS/FRS102
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Organised, detail-oriented, and naturally inquisitive
• Willing to work 4-5 dpw from the office in North West Kent

• Base Salary: 65,000 - 70,000 per annum
