Group Accountant
Job Description
Butler Rose is working with a great organisation in the Redruth area to recruit a Group Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, key duties will include:
Managing and guiding a small finance team
Producing monthly management accounts
Overseeing month-end and year-end closing activities
Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Supporting the budgeting process and forecasting activities
Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements
Driving process improvements and enhancing efficiencies where needed
Confidently using Excel for financial analysis and reporting
The successful candidate will ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) although those who are part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant skills will also be considered.
