We're looking for a Group Accountant to join our growing team and make a real impact!
Established in 1989, IBSL is a trusted provider of high-performance insulation solutions for the Petrochemical, Power Generation and Offshore industries.
Now part of the IPCOM Group, we're strengthening our ambition to become the leading knowledge and solutions provider to our customers and suppliers.
Purpose of the Role
This is more than just a month end role, you'll be the right hand to our Group Finance Director, helping to refine and evolve our finance function as we continue to grow. No legacy red tape. No endless layers of sign-off. Just the freedom and support to make a difference.
What You'll Do
Lead on weekly IPCOM Group reporting for all UK entities.
Reconcile and analyse P&L and payroll accounts.
Lead on UK audits, assisting leadership teams across UK entities with individual audit requirements.
Manage month-end accounts and IPCOM Group reporting.
Process payments for controllable cost invoices.
Review and process the monthly payroll through an outsourced provider.
Support annual budgeting activity for all UK entities.
What You'll Bring
Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
A keen eye for detail and process optimisation.
Confidence to challenge and improve existing ways of working.
Collaborative relationship builder with strong communication skills.
Ambitious with a desire to grow and shape the role.
Experience with Xero (desirable)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
Exposure to business transformation and / or scale up environments (desirable)
