Group Accounts Assistant




Semperian Group are looking to recruit a Group Accounts Assistant on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract basis and will be based in Bristol.



This role will work as part of the Semperian Group Finance Team delivering accounting, OTC, P2P, employee expenses, reporting, cash management, and compliance activities for Head Office companies. The role will be part of the Group Services team, and so responsibilities will vary to ensure the monthly processes are completed to the relevant deadlines and team objectives are met.

Group Accounts Responsibilities



Raising sales invoices in connection for services that are billable and rechargeable costs. Ensuring these are coded correctly for reporting Performing and supporting the credit control reporting and chasing as part of the team Maintaining customer master data and providing customer statements and other reporting as required Creation and management of purchase orders for suppliers Liaison with Head Office Budget Holders over purchase order commitments Processing supplier invoices for Head Office companies, through PTP and AP, as part of the team As part of the team prepare payment proposals for authorisation by the appropriate Managers and obtaining authorisation for payment of suppliers

Requirements



SAP experience in OTC, PTP & cash /bank receipt and payment processes Some AAT /ACA/ ACCA or equivalent knowledge Experience working in accounting /finance functions within an organisation. The role requires an individual who is diligent, organised and a team-oriented person Commitment to work in a supportive team manner Must be a self-starter/completer, confident in liaising with suppliers in a professional manner Successful DBS check
