Overview


As the

Group Activities Lead,

you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and leading a wide variety of engaging activities for residents across our expanding network of care homes. Activities are a vital component of our service, and we aim to set the benchmark in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Program Development:

Utilising available platforms to ensure a monthly group-wide calendar of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents. This may include arts and crafts, fitness sessions, music and dance, games, gardening, movie nights and social gathering.

Resident Engagement:

Promote active participation and ensure all activities are inclusive, enjoyable, and contribute to a strong sense of community and belonging.

Innovation & Promotion:

Identify creative and unique activity ideas that distinguish us in the marketplace. Collaborate with marketing and CRM teams to showcase activities through social media and other channels.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with care home staff to ensure activities are well-planned, properly resourced, and aligned with resident needs.

Evaluation & Feedback:

Regularly assess the success of activities and use feedback from residents and staff to drive continuous improvement.

Resource Management:

Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are sourced, maintained, and readily available for use.

Budget Oversight:

Collaborate with the procurement team to manage activity budgets wisely, ensuring maximum value and impact.

Strategic Planning:

Provide regular updates to head office with a clear vision and roadmap for enhancing the group's activities programme.

Key Competencies:



Proven experience in a similar role within a care home environment. Demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple sites. Comfortable working with budgets and liaising with senior management. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Creative and enthusiastic approach to developing meaningful and engaging programs. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
