Group Asset Management Specialist
The Role
As Group Asset Management Specialist, you'll standardise maintenance foundations across sites and lead CMMS onboarding by creating workflows, asset hierarchies, and processes while guiding change management across teams. The role reports to the Head of Operational Technology and will be based in our Head Office, Belfast.
What you'll be doing:

  • Build maintenance and engineering foundations for a successful CMMS deployment across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Document core processes to set standards, ensure compliance, and drive consistency.
  • Design, Implement and Standardise practices aligned with RCM (Reliability-Centred Maintenance) to drive improvement and excellence.
  • Implement asset naming & criticality standards with risk scoring for strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate asset data into CMMS and digital initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation (SOPs, BOMs, spare parts, planning, CAPEX).
  • Leverage analytics to improve reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Develop and report on KPIs to track progress and guide the long-term engineering strategy.
  • Manage asset lifecycle from acquisition to decommissioning.
  • Promote change adoption of systems, tools, and practices across teams.
  • Build stakeholder relationships to ensure buy-in and smooth integration.
  • Design and deliver training and coaching on standards, asset management, and CMMS usage.
  • Use data-driven decisions guided by insights, risks, and business impact.
  • Drive improvements proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Lead and support group projects in Engineering, OT, and IT deployments.
  • Engage teams effectively by listening and enabling frontline support.
  • Champion accountability and technical excellence across all sites.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management in a manufacturing environment (preferably food or FMCG).
  • Proven experience in preparing or implementing CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Fiix, or similar).
  • Proven understanding of engineering workflows, maintenance planning, and spare parts management.
  • Experience in documenting engineering procedures and creating technical standards.
  • Right to Work in the UK
Desirable:
  • Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
  • Certification in maintenance or asset management (e.g., CMRP, IAM, PMP)
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma).
