Importantly, while the aim is to build a strong London offering, 'CLUK' is connected to the wider US Concentric Life agency and can share resources where necessary, such as brand designers, project managers, creative teams and medical writers and video editors and animators via the agency's inhouse studio team known as 'The Furnace'.
In addition, as part of Accenture Song we can also utilize the Song studio team across EMEA and Africa and even Costa Rica, giving us a broad scope of talent to draw upon.
Who We Are Looking For:
Concentric is seeking a Group Creative Director, Global/ART to support the ECD and oversee and drive the creative across a diverse portfolio of clients and brands. You are passionate about design, film and brand activations and creating beautiful work, a problem solver, and a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Partnering with Account, Strategy, and IP leads, you are responsible for the overall brand strategy, client management, and creative quality on these brands and leading a team of creatives.
You have a passion for healthcare and making a difference and making projects 'happen'.
You are an approachable hardworking team player and an open-minded, active listener with the ability to unpack complex problems with simplicity.
You are either in a similar role or looking for a move and ready to help build and manage a team of like-minded art directors and designers.
Reports to The Executive Creative Director Global
What You Will Do:

  • Lead the creative strategy and execution of all work generated by your team from development to execution based on marketing objectives and informing strategy
  • Line manage art directors in your team.
  • Oversee and manage Art Direction and design on a broad range of projects across various media - including patient and doctor materials, banners, emails, large websites, brand development, presentations and pamphlets
  • Work with the senior copy team and Account team to execute unique, innovative visual solutions based on the creative business objectives
  • Encourage and motivate your team to make great work; Lead by example by creating a positive force for growth on your team, your brands, and the agency as a whole
  • Understand what makes great creative as well as how to run a great team. You think about and manage the business while driving creative excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong Client relationships, understanding their business and providing solutions through the development of campaigns
  • Understand target audience and marketing goals for each assigned brand; Own the vision and distill it down to its essence
  • Work with Account team to ensure quality and efficiency on all creative and brand projects and troubleshoot when necessary
  • Present creative ideas, concept development, and brand work to client
  • Manage your team - hiring new team members, performance management, and ensuring your employees are fully utilized, billable and using their talents on the right projects.
  • Contribute to the greater good of the agency; you lead the way to advance the agency's mission and business - identifying opportunities and turning them into realities
What You Bring:
  • 15+ years' experience at an advertising agency (Pharma or consumer), with a clear focus on and expertise in pharma and life sciences.
  • A portfolio of creatively exceptional work across therapy areas and media
  • Strong eye for design
  • A track record of success in creative awards would be a significant factor.
  • Curiosity for science with the ability to pick up therapeutic areas and concepts quickly as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and engaging presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage deadlines
  • Ability to tell a simple story and connect strategy through creative for our pharma clients
  • A drive to elevate thinking and the work
