Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Group Credit Control Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the credit control process and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices. This is a vital role within our organisation, as it directly impacts our cash flow and financial stability. You will manage the credit strategy for 6 satellite depots in the ethnic restaurant and wholesaler industry.

Conduct credit checks on new customers and assess creditworthiness Set credit limits and terms for customers based on their financial standing Issue invoices and statements to customers in a timely manner Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies Negotiate payment plans with customers experiencing financial difficulties Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment details Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or issues Provide regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow projections to stakeholders Collaborate with legal team to escalate credit issues

Experience

:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices SAGE proficiency Excellent communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Schedule:

Office based, NP44 3GA. Monday-Friday Hours TBC
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23,809.00-30,000.00 per year
