About OX Living



OX Living is a fast-growing property development and management company specialising in high-quality shared homes (HMOs) across Oxfordshire. We currently own and operate 70+ properties and acquire and refurbish around one new property every month.

We're known for raising standards in shared living -- not just through good design, but through strong systems, compliance, safety, and resident experience. We manage everything in-house, from development and refurbishments through to lettings and ongoing operations.

As Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly. Working in a close-knit team of four, you'll oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This is a varied role offering insight into multiple areas of business administration, finance, and operational support.

Hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work 09:00-17:00 or 08:00-16:00

One day working from home each week (after probation)

28,000 - 30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day financial operations, including:

o Purchase and sales ledger

o Payroll support

o Bank reconciliations

o Credit cards and employee expenses

o Deposits

o Intercompany transactions

Work closely with the Development Finance Manager and Project Manager on contractor payments

Maintain and adhere to financial policies and procedures

Maintain Companies House records

Role Requirements



AAT part-qualified or equivalent

Experience in a hands-on-environment / SME is essential

Proven experience with accounts software

Experience with intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations and VAT desirable

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Highly organised with the ability to work independently and handle varied tasks

Adaptable and keen to adopt new systems and automate tasks wherever possible

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
