Job Description

'

Group Finance Manager'

Location: Remote (ideally based in Oxfordshire)
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per year (subject to experience)

Rockstar Global is a diversified holding group founded by serial entrepreneur and former-drummer Kane Andrews, operating across multiple industries in the UK and soon to be internationally. The group's portfolio includes brands in property investment and education, each built around a shared philosophy of creativity, excellence and innovation.

With a reputation for disrupting traditional sectors and driving consistent growth, Rockstar Global combines commercial strategy with an entrepreneurial spirit. The group is now seeking a highly capable and trustworthy Group Finance Manager to help oversee and scale its financial operations across multiple entities, supporting expansion, acquisitions, and investor growth.

This is a pivotal, hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with operational precision. You'll manage group-wide finances, oversee investor remittances and payments, monitor cashflow, and provide financial leadership and insight directly to the CEO.

The position is primarily remote, offering flexibility and autonomy, but the successful candidate will ideally be based in Oxfordshire and will be required to regularly meet with the Group CEO to review reports, financial models, and group performance.

As the business continues to expand, you'll have the opportunity to introduce and manage an Assistant Finance Manager, who will support you with bookkeeping, record-keeping, and administrative financial tasks -- enabling you to focus on higher-level reporting, forecasting, and group oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the group's financial systems, reporting, and performance monitoring. Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and all financial data up to trial balance (to send to our UK-based accountant). Oversee all company bank accounts, process payments, and manage investor remittances, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and group reports. Oversee VAT returns, submissions, and compliance across all entities. Maintain cashflow forecasts, budgets, and performance dashboards for the CEO. Oversee the incorporation and closure of group companies where necessary, including filing annual confirmation statements and ensuring all statutory submissions are completed accurately and on time. Ensure financial records are accurate, consistent, and compliant with UK accounting standards. Develop and maintain group-level financial models and scenario-based forecasts. Support the CEO in financial analysis for acquisitions, mergers, or new ventures. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data and forecasts. Create and review valuation models and projections for target acquisitions within the group. Liaise with external accountants, banks, and investors to ensure transparency and clarity in all financial dealings. Manage and train an Assistant Finance Manager to assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting. Collaborate closely with the CEO to ensure the group's finances align with strategic objectives. Implement improved systems, controls, and reporting tools across the group. Ensure all financial processes are secure, efficient, and scalable as the business grows. Attend a regular in-person meeting with the Group CEO to review financial reports, projections, and strategic priorities.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or group finance. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and compliance. Highly competent in financial modelling, forecasting, and cashflow analysis. Proficiency with Xero or QuickBooks, and experience with automation tools (Dext, Hubdoc, etc.). Experience incorporating and closing limited companies, and managing Companies House filings. Comfortable handling investor funds, payments, and reconciliations. Exceptional accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate numbers into strategy. Confident working both independently and collaboratively with senior management. AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent (or qualified by experience). Ideally based in Oxfordshire or surrounding areas, with the ability to attend in-person meetings.
If you're an ambitious, trustworthy, and detail-oriented finance professional looking to take ownership of a diverse and evolving group portfolio, this is your opportunity to step into a role with real impact.
