Grafton Banks are representing a global law firm to fill a newly created Group Financial Accountant role. This is an exciting time to join the business as you'll have the opportunity to play a role in shaping the business moving forward and expand your skills to include management accounting responsibilities. The firm has a solid track record, extensive client base and operates with high integrity.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are seeking a Qualified ACA with minimum 2 years post qualified experience in a Top 50 Accountancy practice or in Industry, who has experience of producing financial statements (audit experience is not sufficient for this role, you must be producing financial statements) and ensuring accurate consolidation across the group.
With a strong technical skill and a proactive approach, you will help implement key financial controls, support year-end and monthly reporting, and collaborate with external auditors--all while contributing to our vision of taking the business to the next level.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with production of the Annual Financial Statements using FRS 102.
  • Working closely with the audit team and accountants offices to ensure that the audit completes efficiently.
  • Managing the preparation and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the delivery of the annual budget and business plan, including multi-year forecasting.
Essential Skills Required -
  • Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA)
  • 2 years post qualified experience in industry or practice
  • Experience producing year-end financial statements
  • Have the right to work in UK without sponsorship
