We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our finance team in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the Group's statutory and financial reporting. The successful candidate will take ownership of preparing and reviewing the UK subsidiary accounts and providing technical accounting expertise across the business. In addition, the role will play a key part in monthly management reporting and financial control, supporting both the Group and wider Finance team.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for all UK subsidiaries in compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations Manage and coordinate the external audit process for UK subsidiaries as relevant, acting as the key point of contact Monthly Management Accounting: Managing the month end close process, including cost analysis and accruing, revenue and cost recognition, intercompany reconciliation and revaluation, cross-entity recharges, journal postings, and preparation of upload files. Monthly Reporting: Support the preparation of Group results and monthly Board reporting, including ownership of key reconciliations, ad hoc analysis, and consolidation inputs. Contribute to developing and enhancing reporting and controls on a continuous improvement basis Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Produce and maintain robust reconciliations, identification and resolution of issues, and liaison with overseas subsidiaries and third parties as required Year-End & quarterly reporting: Active involvement in both statutory accounts and audit processes for the UK subsidiaries and the Group Strengthen internal control processes around financial reporting and month end Partner with wider finance and operational teams to ensure robust reporting and financial insight Support the Group Finance team on consolidation and group reporting requirements. Contribute to finance transformation projects and continuous process improvement.

About you



ACA or ACCA qualified Strong post-qualified experience in financial reporting, management accounting, and statutory accounts preparation. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS. Previous experience in private equity-backed, financial services, or multi-entity businesses is highly advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large volumes of data. Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment. Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
