We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Group Financial Analyst to join our Group Financial Reporting Team. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, the team is responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial statements, consolidated monthly management accounts and financial reporting for lenders. The team also supports the annual audit and budgeting processes, provides technical accounting guidance to both local and European finance teams and drives continuous process improvement in reporting and financial operations.
As the group continues its strong growth trajectory, the Group Financial Reporting team plays a critical role in supporting this development and ensuring compliance and alignment with UK and group financial reporting policies.
The role is ideally suited to someone with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset, who is comfortable adapting to changing environments and challenging existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
This position offers broad exposure to a range of accounting disciplines and business processes, as well as interaction with both finance and non-finance stakeholders across the organisation. Through this cross-function collaboration, the successful candidate will gain insight into the operations of our diverse businesses.

Key Accountabilities:
Annual Statutory Reporting
  • Prepare statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions alongside Group Financial Reporting and other support teams
  • Produce statutory disclosures and audit supporting schedules
  • Prepare audit reconciliations, year-end assessments and other ad hoc audit support where required
Consolidated Management Accounts
  • Support the preparation of consolidated monthly financial reporting to the board
  • Prepare quarterly reporting for bank lenders
  • Providing support to local finance teams across Europe throughout the monthly reporting cycle
  • Responsibility for accounting within the group holding companies and various consolidations, including monthly adjusting entries and the related reconciliations
  • Responsibility and review of intra group finance arrangements across the group
  • Maintain compliance with FRS 102 through regular process review
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the consolidation process
Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Reviews
  • Prepare regular reconciliations for key and complex group accounts
  • Manage the transition of group level reconciliations to Blackline software and tools
  • Support with preparing and completing balance sheet reviews across the group, to include ongoing implementation of control processes and reviews
Other
  • Support in the consolidated budget process as required
  • Ad hoc technical accounting support, including implementation of group wide accounting policies and updated FRS 102 standards
  • Other ad hoc support and projects as required and determined by Group Financial Reporting Manager

Qualifications
What we need from you:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or actively working towards qualification
  • Experience in and understanding of external audit or group reporting processes (desirable)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Index Match, Sumifs etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive working relationships with a variety of teams
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence change, manage stakeholders and challenge and improve financial processes
  • Desire to develop personally and support the development of others
  • Excellent team player with clear communication skills, both written and verbal
