Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees within our Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety regulations and a strong construction back ground. Previous experience in demolition, civils and RC Frames would be beneficial. As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide training and development programs for employees on health and safety practices, including first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures. Perform root cause analysis on incidents to determine underlying issues and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incidents, and compliance audits for management review. Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and changes in legislation related to health and safety.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a health & safety role within a construction environment is essential. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in EHS or related fields are a plus. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills with experience in conducting root cause analysis to address safety concerns. Ability to develop engaging training materials that promote employee understanding of health & safety practices. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Pay: 50,000.00-80,000.00 per year
