The key aim of this role are:
The key aim of this role is to ensure the business has the talent and skills, training methods and HR policies and processes that it requires to be successful and achieve its goals. The key metrics are end-to-end recruitment and HR administration, HR systems updates, the process of all starters and leavers, and keeping all HR and training files up to date.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Providing administrative and organisational support to the Group HR team.
End-to-end recruitment, posting job adverts, contacting candidates setting up interviews either face to face or via teams, taking part in interviews, and taking notes.
Issue all offer letters, statements of terms, and any associated HR paperwork to all new starters.
Obtaining references for new starters.
Uploading and scanning HR documents as required.
Day-to-day management of the HR email inbox.
Ensure all relevant ID, certificates, and employment documents are received by the start date.
Driving license checks for new starters and yearly checks for employees.
Be the first point of contact for any HR admin queries.
Conducting pre-employment checks including right to work checks.
Dealing with starters, and leavers and processing any changes.
Administration of the HR system entering new starters and leavers onto the system.
Keeping the HR system and all personal files up to date.
Support Line Managers with recruitment needs.
Take notes in HR meetings where required.
Assist the Group HR Director and Line Managers with staff training needs.
Maintaining employee confidence by keeping HR information confidential at all times.
Maintaining a quality HR service to the organisation by following organisation standards.
Promotion of an open, transparent, positive, and winning culture throughout the business.
Suggest process improvements to aid efficient ways of working
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
Strong administration skills.
Excellent communication skills with an understanding of GDPR.
Well organised.
Previous HR experience essential.
CIPD qualification desirable.
