Group HR Director
as the business expands.
Preventr delivers multi-million-pound projects in fire protection, manufacturing and smart building technology, working with leading universities, hospitals, local councils, social housing providers, airports and government departments. With 58 employees and around 40 subcontractors, we're scaling rapidly - on track to grow from
17m to 50m revenue within the next 3 years.

As
Head of People / Group HR Manager
, you will:
Develop and lead our employer branding strategy.
Review and enhance employee benefits.
Design and implement a company-wide training and development plan.
Create a workforce retention strategy.
Introduce a company-wide performance appraisal process and train managers/supervisors in its use.
Ensure all company policies and procedures remain compliant and up to date.
Implement a centralised HR database.
Standardise pay bandings and incentives across the group.
Own and improve onboarding processes.
Act as the go-to HR contact for all people-related matters.
Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts across the business.
Manage HR documentation.
Maintain compliance with employment law, working alongside the Group HSEQ Manager.
Build out and lead a HR team as the company grows.
You will report directly to the
Chief Financial & Operations Officer
and be supported by outsourced HR partners for documentation and employment law advice.
What We're Looking For
You will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HR leadership role.
Proven experience in a
high-growth B2B scale-up environment
.
Experience managing both employees and subcontractors.
UK-recognised HR qualifications.
Strong experience delivering the HR element of business strategy.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously.
Demonstrable track record of implementing HR tech and modern people processes.
Experience in Learning & Development design and delivery.
UK right to work.
Highly desirable:
Experience of M&A and post-acquisition integrations.
