Job Description

We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast.

We have an opportunity within our Human Resources team to join them as a

Group Human Resources Manager

on a fixed-term basis.

Some of the key responsibilities include:



Work alongside the Director of HR during the maternity cover period to deliver effective, business-focused HR support across the Group. Deputise for the Director of HR in their absence, supporting strategic objectives, major projects, and the implementation of new initiatives. Lead and manage the HR Officer and HR Assistant, providing guidance and professional development. Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused HR service that adds value and supports organisational goals. Partner with line managers to ensure teams have the skills, structure, and resources needed to achieve business objectives. Provide expert advice on all areas of HR including organisational development, change management, employee relations, TUPE, recruitment, and policy implementation.

To be considered for this opportunity you must:



Have proven experience working in Human Resources at HR Manager level, with strong generalist HR expertise. Demonstrate effective people management and leadership skills. Possess extensive knowledge and practical application of HR best practice, employment law, and all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training and development, employee relations, attendance management, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes. Hold a

CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above

, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. Have proven coaching and mentoring ability to support and develop others. Demonstrate experience in developing and applying employment policies in line with best practice.
